Chapter 146: The Fairy is Attacked
Chapter 146: The Fairy is Attacked
(PS: This has nothing to do with gods or fairies. Those who use clickbait titles can skip this. Four-character titles are necessary. The "fairy" in the title refers to the Andromeda Galaxy.)
"Sister, hurry up! Father, Dafi and Daya, and many ministers are waiting for us!" A boy urged a girl loudly. Beside him stood two twin boys.
The girl looked at herself in the mirror again, put down the comb, and slowly walked out of the room.
"Brother, look at you, what's the rush? You should learn from your brothers Wei Zhou and Wei Yuan. Oh no, we're going to be late, run!" After saying that, the girl ran quickly towards the Royal Council Hall. The four boys were stunned for a moment, then shook their heads in unison, and then also took off running, following behind the girl.
"Princess, Princess, slow down, don't fall!" the steward called out.
"Butler, don't worry." The girl's voice had already faded into the distance.
The four of them ran as fast as they could. Fortunately, they had solid physical fitness thanks to the personal training of Ryder, a favorite of Emperor Lydam of the Star Luo Empire. Otherwise, they would have been out of breath long ago.
"My little princess, you've finally arrived!" Ryder, who had been anxiously waiting outside the Royal Council Hall, looked as if he had seen a savior.
"Uncle Ryder, we're not little anymore."
"Princess, aren't you all still little ones in my eyes? I've watched the four of you grow up. Hurry up and come into the palace."
Ryder led the four teenagers into the Royal Council Hall, where the five took their seats. On the Star Luo Empire's home planet, Layman, in the Royal Council Hall, Emperor Rydam, the two princes Rydafi and Rydaya, and numerous civil and military officials were already seated.
"Feiyuan, you've been naughty again! If you're late again next time, your father will punish you."
"Father, Mother taught me that girls should groom themselves when meeting people. I can't have messy hair in front of so many uncles and aunts, can I?"
"Little girl, let's not talk about you anymore. Let's get down to business." Leidam couldn't help but smile wryly.
When Raedam gets down to business, everyone freezes and focuses intently, even the mischievous Raedam sits upright and attentive.
"Daffy, you go first."
“Yes, Father.” Lei Dafei stood up. “Father, everyone, according to the report from the Star Luo Mansion ambassador at the Pan-Interstellar Alliance base, the Earth Empire’s Andromeda Galaxy fleet base has detected hyperspace oscillations in the distant Ruler Supercluster. After analysis, two star systems are traveling through hyperspace, heading towards our Virgo Supercluster.”
"Brother, do you mean that these two star systems might be hostile?"
"Yes. The Earth Empire's Andromeda Galaxy fleet has sent a hyperspace communication requesting support from the Earth Empire's Milky Way galaxy, which is still located in the Armenian Cosmic Great Wall. The Earth Empire's Andromeda Galaxy fleet currently only has about one hundred fleets, which may be difficult to deal with two star systems. Members of the Pan-Interstellar Alliance are all accumulating military strength in order to counter the invasion of these two star systems."
"Father, what can our Star Luo Empire do?"
"Feiyuan, Dazhou, Weiyuan, Weizhou, you four are not young anymore. I hope to take this opportunity to let the four of you, under the command of your brother Dafei, lead our Star Luo Empire fleet to participate in this battle of life and death and honor. Only war can make the Star Luo people grow up, and only war can make all of you leave this Great Wall of the Universe."
"Our Emperor is wise!" the ministers shouted in unison.
"Where is Brother Nadaya?"
“Daia, of course, will also go, as the chief scientific administrator of your fleet.”
"Ryder, Dafidaya, and the other four are participating in actual combat for the first time. You must assist them well."
"Yes, Your Majesty. Even if Ryder is shattered to pieces, he will fulfill Your Majesty's mission."
"Daffy, as the fleet commander, you must heed the advice of Ryder and other military officers, guard against arrogance and impetuosity, and think thrice before acting."
"Father, rest assured, I will follow your teachings."
"Girl, war is not child's play. You can't act recklessly on the battlefield, or you'll ruin important things."
“Father, I understand. Don’t worry, I will correct my mistakes.”
"You five older brothers must take good care of your little sister."
"Yes, Father."
"My lords, the fate of the Star Luo Empire rests in your hands."
"Long live the Emperor! Long live the Star Luo Empire!"
Leidam, the great, wise and mighty emperor of the Star Luo Empire, sent his two princes and four nominal "children" to the battlefield this time.
Ledaf and Ryder led the massive fleet of the Star Luo Empire on a hyperspace journey into the Andromeda Galaxy. Within the Andromeda Galaxy's interstellar space, forty-four fleets of the Pan-Interstellar Alliance were stationed. At the Earth Empire's Iron Triangle fleet base in the Andromeda Galaxy, under the chairmanship of the Imperial Fleet Base Commander-in-Chief, all senior commanders of the alliance member fleets held a meeting, primarily to discuss operational deployments and preventative measures. The meeting determined that the Earth Empire fleet would take the lead, with other alliance members playing a supporting role.
The Earth Empire's fleet base dispatched thirty fleets to the central region of the Virgo Supercluster, serving as the front line, or first line of defense, against invasions from two major star systems in the distant Norm Supercluster. A second line of defense was also established on the outskirts of the Andromeda Cluster, with the Earth Empire deploying thirty fleets, and the Sand Star Race, the Protoss Race, the Star Luo Empire, and other alliance members contributing half their fleets. The final line of defense was the Andromeda System itself, guarded by forty Earth Empire fleets and half of the allied fleet. The allied forces were prepared for battle at all three lines of defense.
At the first line of defense in the central region of the Virgo Supercluster, the Earth Empire's thirty fleets detected increasingly strong hyperspace oscillations, with a clearer directional effect. Twenty days later, the hyperspace oscillations of two star systems were extremely intense, leading the Earth Empire fleet to determine that they were approaching the Virgo Supercluster. The Earth Empire fleet began a blockade of the hyperspace of over one hundred star systems in the central region of the Virgo Supercluster. Sure enough, two star systems the size of the Andromeda Galaxy fell from hyperspace back to normal space. The two rectangular star systems were approximately fourteen or fifteen star systems away from the allied forces' first line of defense. The two star systems accelerated, attempting to re-enter hyperspace, but failed. Each star system then leaped out of ten globular clusters, detached from its parent star system, and accelerated into hyperspace.
Twenty globular clusters, upon reaching a galaxy, would detach from hyperspace and re-enter the galaxy's normal space, searching throughout the galaxy. By searching in this manner, the globular clusters would be able to locate the allied forces' first line of defense within two days.
The Earth Empire's thirty "Halo Garden" fleets in the first line of defense system began accelerating into hyperspace, heading towards the two star systems at extremely high speeds. Twenty globular clusters also hurriedly accelerated into hyperspace, seemingly returning to defend their home system, or perhaps preparing to encircle and capture the Earth Empire's fleets.
The thirty "Halo Garden" fleets travel faster in hyperspace than globular clusters. These thirty fleets are divided into two groups of fifteen, each heading towards one of the two star systems, Norma, and entering the space of each system.
Upon entering the Norm Star System, the "Halo Garden" fleet immediately began constructing interstellar catapults. First, neutron war stars were launched to strike the interstellar fortresses within the system via hyperspace. Then, a large number of stars were launched to attack the approaching enemy fleets.
By the time the globular clusters arrived, the "Halo Garden" fleet had already fled to other parts of the galaxy. The Earth Empire's thirty "Halo Garden" fleets were actually engaging in guerrilla warfare within the two rectangular star systems. This guerrilla warfare proved surprisingly effective; in the two rectangular star systems, more than ten interstellar fortresses were destroyed by neutron stars, and more than ten fleets were attacked. In each rectangular star system, sixteen globular clusters were hunting down the "Halo Garden" fleets.
However, each of the Earth Empire's "Halo Garden" fleets easily evaded the globular clusters' encirclement thanks to their hyperspace travel speed. Whenever danger arose, the "Halo Garden" fleets would hyperspace travel to the neighboring star system between the two Norm star systems to hide. When the pursuing globular clusters arrived, the "Halo Garden" fleets would enter hyperspace again and then enter the Norm star system to continue their hyperspace attack.
The Earth Empire's thirty "Halo Garden" fleets, each acting like a sniper, evaded tracking and launched rapid, fierce attacks, turning the two star systems into chaos.
Seemingly sensing that the "Halo Garden" fleet's attempt to capture the Earth Empire had failed, two Norm galaxy globular clusters began guarding important interstellar fortresses and strongholds.
Four globular clusters began accelerating into hyperspace, hurtling towards the Virgo Cluster. These four globular clusters were, of course, preparing to attack the Earth Empire's base in the Andromeda Galaxy.
The Earth Empire's second line of defense, while also employing hyperspace blockade, proved ineffective against the four globular clusters. The four clusters entered the Andromeda Galaxy directly. However, after what appeared to be a reconnaissance mission, the four clusters accelerated back into hyperspace, returning to the Norma and Ruler Galaxyes. The Pan-Star Alliance forces were utterly baffled.
The two Rectangular Galaxyes seemed to be silent, as was the Pan-Star Alliance forces. Both sides were in a strange state of emptiness, as if the other had never appeared, yet they knew the other posed a threat and remained vigilant at all times.
Two rectangular galaxies suddenly accelerated and entered hyperspace! The first and second lines of defense, which blocked hyperspace access, were breached!
The Andromeda Galaxy has welcomed two new galaxies, two rectangular galaxies, which are located near the Andromeda Galaxy.
The combined forces of the first and second lines of defense, including the Imperial fleet, all withdrew to the Andromeda Galaxy.
If hyperspace blockade fails, the coalition will be in a very passive position, as the enemy has thirty-two globular clusters.
Sure enough, the two Norm galaxies and all thirty-two globular clusters sprang into action, accelerating into hyperspace and then reaching the Andromeda Galaxy's interstellar space.
What greeted these thirty-two globular clusters was a black hole that appeared out of nowhere.
A globular cluster began to radiate light, then plunged into complete darkness; the starlight within seemed to vanish, as if the cluster had been erased from space. A black hole, appearing abruptly, was involuntarily pulled towards the globular cluster. The powerful gravitational waves generated by this interstellar spacetime distortion caused the surrounding starlight to flicker intensely. This abruptly appearing black hole was colliding with another black hole within the globular cluster.
The other thirty-one globular clusters flew together toward the Andromeda Galaxy's Iron Triangle base.
This time, what greeted the thirty-one globular clusters were ten translucent golden spheres, each the size of a moon, gleaming brightly. These ten moon-sized golden spheres accelerated toward the ten globular clusters.
One globular cluster began to shine brightly, but before the light could fade, it vanished, as did the other nine. The remaining twenty-one globular clusters, seemingly sensing danger, immediately accelerated into hyperspace to evade the pursuit of the moon-sized Imperial "Sheng Tian Bo." Ten Imperial "Sheng Tian Bo" also began accelerating into hyperspace, closely following the twenty-one globular clusters.
