Chapter 331: 750 Reputation Points, To The Awakener District
Chapter 331: 750 Reputation Points, To The Awakener District
Leon opened the [Trading House] panel in front of him.
Unfortunately he still didn’t fit the conditions to become a global seller who could trade across all the higher domains at once.
With all the things he was about to put up for sale this time though, he was quite sure he would finally meet those conditions, and so he started to place everything onto the market without any hesitation.
He simply decided to put everything up for sale except for his most important personal items, just to clear out space for other things he might acquire later.
This included all the items he had gotten from the [Exiled Lands] and the [Forest of Oblivion], all the weapons and armors he didn’t need anymore like the [Forsaken Knight Armor +4], and even some of the materials he had been hoarding.
He did not put the [Void Staff] or the [Power Sword] on sale though, because those were too valuable to just give away to strangers.
They would sell for a terrifying amount of eternal coins without any question, but what was most important to Leon was that he did not want anybody to know about the [Blood Heart Blessing] that was embedded in those weapons.
He would rather simply destroy those items himself than to give them to anyone else, except for possibly his companions if they ever needed them.
And so, with a final confirmation click, he set everything loose on the market.
Click!
[You have put 172 items on sale.]
"Damn, that’s a lot of stuff," Leon muttered to himself, surprised by the sheer number.
If everything sold successfully, including all the sub talent scrolls and the various pieces of equipment, he would have an incredible amount of money to spend on the market or even to increase his storage space capacity even further.
[Storage Space: 92/280]
He also heard several notification sounds in his head from the [Trading House] as his items were being bought up quickly by eager players who recognized good deals when they saw them.
"Alright," Leon turned at Emilia with a nod, "Let’s get going now, everything should be fine from here on out."
Leon lifted Celeste onto his back securely as he stepped forward, making sure she wouldn’t fall off while they walked.
Vision Enhancement!
He activated his skill to make the world around him clearer and sharper than before, just in case anything unexpected happened while they were walking through the district.
After all, the effects of [Oblivion Meteor] had been removed from the sky after he had entered the realm.
It meant that the massive threatening vortex in the sky had completely disappeared while they were gone.
This would be the perfect opportunity for the awakener lord and his four guardians to intervene and try to kill him if they wanted to, since his main leverage was now gone.
Still though, nothing happened to them as they reached the [Awakener Tower], and more importantly, they arrived at the shimmering veil that stood between the [Advanced District] and the [Awakener District].
The previously impenetrable veil that had blocked his path before was now semi transparent to their eyes, a clear sign that they had been granted access, and the group proceeded forward without stopping.
Fwoosh!
One by one, Leon and then Emilia stepped through the magical barrier, immediately phasing through it like it was nothing more than water.
Ding!
[You have arrived at the "Awakener District" and gained 50 Reputation Points.]
"Oh," Leon said with mild surprise, not having expected to gain reputation points just for showing up.
And right afterward, another notification appeared that made him even more interested.
[Your reputation has reached 750, a new milestone.]
"So close to the maximum now," Leon mumbled with a wide grin spreading across his face, "I wonder what I will get this time around."
He had only gotten an attribute points increase and the [Celestial Token] at five hundred reputation points back when he had hit that milestone, so this time around he expected something even better than before.
Without wasting any more time thinking about it, he focused his attention on the panel that appeared before him for his milestone reward.
Ding!
[Your "Heaven’s Blessing" passive has massively evolved.]
[Heaven’s Blessing: Favored by the "Heavenly One", each level you gain will raise your attributes by 1,000 and grant you 1,000 free attribute points.]
"Oh, that’s actually pretty good."
And then came the second notification, the one that actually shocked Leon even more than the first one had.
Ding!
[You have been invited to the "Celestial Meeting" that will take place once you have arrived at the "Eternal Domain"]
[All the Celestials are waiting for your arrival, for you are the last one, don’t keep them waiting.]
[You will be able to access the meeting with your "Celestial Token" and perhaps something special will be waiting there for you.]
"The others..." Leon’s eyes widened with realization, "They’re all already waiting in the [Eternal Domain] for me to show up."
Leon had assumed that from the very beginning of his journey, because each celestial must be just as strong as him if not even more powerful given how much longer they had been active.
But what would actually happen once he finally met them all face to face, he wondered to himself.
Were they going to be friends or enemies, and what would they think as they saw him for the first time, the last celestial to arrive at the gathering?
Each of them had a massive time advantage compared to him, having been around for much longer, making it impossible for Leon to reach them in terms of raw combat power, at least not easily or quickly.
’I’ll have to figure that out when I get there, no point worrying about it now,’ he thought to himself.
For now, he was genuinely happy with what he had gotten from the reputation milestone.
He hoped that he would be able to reach one thousand reputation points before then, which was the absolute maximum anyone could achieve.
Not a lot of player had ever managed to get this high of reputation points in the history of [Eternal Ascension], because they needed to do many impossible things that most people could never even attempt.
Even Leon in his past life had only managed to acquire 350 reputation points, and that was after fifteen year, where he got none of them after a certain point.
Emilia herself with everything she had done and achieved so far only had around 300 reputation points, which was basically nothing compared to what Leon had now.
Getting the final 250 reputation points would also be much more difficult for Leon going forward, since he would need to do even more "impressive" things that would catch the system’s attention.
Still, he pushed those thoughts aside for now and stepped forward, arriving at the main square of the [Awakener District] and looking around at his new surroundings with curiosity.
...
A/N
We’re reaching the end of the [Higher Domain #3] arc, it lasted pretty long but I think I’m satisfied with it, though that does not mean Leon’s possibly come back to "deal" with things here! :)
